Men from S.P.E.C.T.R.E. (Winterthur, Switzerland) rush out of the speakers, straight through your living room, into your ears and move your pulse. The sound is fit for street races with perfectly tuned cars and at home in NASA promotional films. The rough edges and instrumental action sound echoes the space-rock-bands and soundtracks of the 70s. The catchy beat of Drums, Congas and Bass join the wild Hammond organ and fuzzy Guitar to mash-up the scenes.
"The Living Eye" is the third record of the S.P.E.C.T.R.E.’s and released on American label "Hammondbeat Records". "The Living Eye" is more indulgent, more psychedelic, and hits the beat harder than the previous records. The songs "Purple Pill People" and "Black Tank", along with earlier productions, have been released on internationally revered labels like "Acid Jazz Records (UK)".
Men from S.P.E.C.T.R.E. have toured Italy, Spain, UK, Germany, Belgium, France, and Switzerland. The Swiss quintet will be on stage with "The Living Eye"...heading for lots of trouble.

For someone who's 16years old today, or for someone who wants to feel like "SIXTEEN AGAIN",it makes no difference if a record is recorded in 1965 or 1981 or 2016.
NO!!! garage rock is not a historical phenomenon. It's an attitude,a mindset that encapsulates the essence of rock'n'roll. The passion,the anger,the insecurity,the frenzy...
But the actual music is not about the past, but of things yet to come...
There will always be new 16-years-olds who weren't born to work,there will always be new generations who believe it's become necessary to reinvent the wheel all over again.
..then suddenly find a music that could be played over and over again,louder and louder, and which made me so intoxicated that i could stand in front of the stereo filled with convinction that i could do whatever i wanted.. that's a very special experience...

Stephan Golowka (Up Club - Frankfurt/Munich - D)
Stephan is the organiser and resident dj of the legendary Up Club in Frankfurt - the ultimate 60s underground dance party. Check out www.myspace.com/upclub for more infos.
He´s a dedicated lover of high quality 60s sounds and the lifestyle since he's born.
His mind is quite easy-going and he likes people with the right sense of humour.
He moved to Munich about a year ago and was amazed immediately: beergardens and the mountains round the corner seem to be a real big thing for him!
He spinned records at many national and international weekenders and parties like Le Beat Bespoke, Purple Weekend, Euro YeYé, Unkel, Lost in Venice to name a few.
Stephan´s very happy to return to the Cloud 9 weekender after 2 years.
A magical mixture of freakbeat, psychedelia and garage is the sound you should expect.

Michael Myers (La Discoteque Psychadelique - Trieste - I)
Dj since 1996 when he started spin records in 50s and 60s party-weekender in lounge, rockabilly,punk, garage,and mod scene because i love all with the same feeling.
He's behind wellknown Trieste mod/60s weekender HIPSTERS EXPO organization (the 7th edition will be 12-13 March),
He was dj all over the Italy (Giaguaro lounge festival, Cloud 9, lavarone, Hot mod Summer) and Europe (Austria, Croatia, Slovenja,Germany, UK, Spain) as like as mousetrap NYE and euroyeye (2008).
He led a radioshow in local radiofragola since 1999 and behind many rnr and 60s happening in Trieste.
He compiled "Masoch club" (Plastic 1999), "Love, strings & Bossa" (Boss-a-tone 2000),"Stasera shake" voll. 1, 2, 3 and succesful" La Discoteque Ppsychdelique" with mate Freakcarlos in 2008, always for Boss-a-tone rec.
record collector,b-movie addict, railwayman and football fanatic even his team (U.S. Foggia 1920) runs in 3rd division.
I am very happy to come back in joyful Romagna to meet a lots o' friends, dance, drink, taste my fave Piada with Squaquerone and offer a personal mix of US garage/teen punk, euro psych, and blue eyed soul.

Peppermintwist

Originally from the States, Layla A.K.A. Peppermintwist has been
calling Italy her home for the last year and a half. When she isn't
busy traversing the seemingly never-ending labyrinth that is the
Italian language, she engages in long-distance co-organizing of
her monthly party in NYC, Smashed!Blocked!, which has been continuously
occurring for almost seven years (and for which she occasionally
still returns to DJ at).
Future plans include publishing a new periodical that will be about
music and anything that is generally interesting, finding a mode
of employment that she doesn't find to be irksome, and trying not
to fall down in the middle dance floor (anymore).

Resistance is futil, forget your fluffiness and poppy side we are
not joking anymore...
Born in the Aquarian Age, he's a well known name into the European
Mod scene and is usually a special and in demand guest D.J. across
Europe. His collection is now more than 15 years old and is full
of many many many treasured original Uk, USA, European and Worldwide
pressing 45s. Frantz's sound is a strong and mature mixture of Freakbeat,
Uk Psych and Good US garage punk peppered with unkwon gems, personally
discovered.
His musical taste is wide and in motion, focusing on electric distortion
guitar and organ driven cuts, strong rhytmic section and an irresteable
dancefloor appeal.
